Kirsty qualified as an adult nurse at Brighton University before completing her podiatry degree with honours at Brighton University in 2011. She moved overseas in 2013, first to New Zealand where she owned and ran her own podiatry clinic for eight years, before relocating to Canada where she practised for a further five years.
Kirsty is experienced in all areas of podiatry, with a particular interest in nail surgery, wound care, and biomechanics. Drawing on her background in nursing, she takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to care and enjoys working alongside other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Alongside her clinical work, Kirsty has been involved in a range of volunteering projects. She has volunteered at a leprosy hospital in Nepal and at an animal sanctuary in Bolivia caring for rescued spider monkeys. Outside of work, she enjoys travel and adventure, including hiking Machu Picchu, and is a proud mum to three mischievous Sphynx cats. She also has a strong passion for animal welfare and is very happy to be back home in Yorkshire.
