Looking for Part Time Physiotherapists for Private Practice – Neuro, Paediatric and MSK/Clinical Pilates

Are you thinking about becoming an independent physiotherapist?

Do you just want to dip your toe in the water? We can support you!

Come and join our friendly professional team of therapists at Physio & Therapies – a 20 year old Multidisciplinary Physio lead practice with a great reputation!

www.physiotherapies.co.uk.

We are based in Todmorden, right on the Pennines, on the Yorkshire/Lancashire border.

We are looking for three part time Physio Associates (self employed)

  • Neuro Physiotherapist who specialises in the treatment of neurological conditions and older adults
  • Paediatric Physiotherapist
  • MSK Physiotherapist with an interest in teaching Clinical Pilates classes.

Our caseload is a mix of home visits and treatment within our clinic so owning a car is essential.

Our current adult neuro physiotherapist is retiring.

You should be confident treating clients with a wide range of Neurological conditions including Stroke, MS, Parkinson’s and Head Injuries as well as older clients with balance issues and general de-conditioning.

There are opportunities to develop some classes and also work with care homes and care agencies to assist in staff training for specific clients. You must be registered with the HCPC and have a Physio degree (or diploma) with at least 5 years experience and relevant post grad training – a moving and handling qualification would be useful.

The Paediatric role is new to the practice so you can make it your own. You must be registered with the HCPC and have a Physio degree (or diploma) with at least 5 years experience and relevant post grad training.

We find that our MSK demand is growing – we already have 2 full time and one part time experienced MSK Physios, 2 of whom teach Pilates (APPI). We run 7 Clinical Pilates classes a week and have the demand to increase this. We would also like to offer more appointments in the evening and on a Saturday, so this might suit someone who works core hours somewhere else but would like to develop a private case load. You must be registered with the HCPC and have a Physio degree (or diploma) with at least 5 years experience and relevant post grad training – a particular interest in Clinical Pilates would be an advantage and we can help you develop this interest.

The advantages of working in our practice include:

  • Established high street premises with modern clinic facilities.
  • Friendly receptionists who are available 5 days per week, into the evenings and some Saturday mornings too.
  • Support to market and grow your business.
  • Hours to suit yourself.
  • Peer support and learning.
  • Multidisciplinary working with on site Podiatrists, Nutritional Therapist, Massage and Sports Massage Therapists, Hypnotherapist, Counsellors, Psychotherapist etc.
  • Administrative support with billing and accounting.
