Mark Wigg

Mark Wigg

Musculo-Skeletal Physiotherapist

I graduated from Bradford School of Physiotherapy in 1991 and took up my first position as a Junoir Physiotherapist at Lancaster where I worked for one year before moving to Oldham. In addition to my fulltime duties in I also found time to ply my trade at Rochdale hornet rugby league football club.

In 1996 I gained promotion to Senior Physiotherapist in Oldham, undertaking further post graduate study to gain a Diploma in Injection Therapy. On leaving Oldham I moved into private practice in 1999 working in Saddleworth till 2002, however I could not resist the lure of the NHS and I returned in 2003 working in my current position as a Clinical specialist at Rochdale.

I joined the team at Physio & Therapies in May 2004 on a part time basis working evenings and Saturdays. I like to be able to run in my spare time as I hope to try my hand at Triathlon later this year.
